Annye from http://www.annyes.com/whole_foods.html turned me on to “No One Belongs Here More Than You” by Miranda July. It is a collection of short stories written with the kind of peculiar humor that makes one laugh out loud. She has been published in the Mississippi Review, Tinhouse,Paris Review, Zoetrope:All Story, The New Yorker, and Timothy Mc Sweeney’s Quarterly Review , to name a few, and she’s only 33! Miranda is also a film maker and performance artist.She wrote “Me You and Everyone We Know” which won the Camera d’Or Prize at the Cannes Festival in 2005.
